Returns & Refunds

Unfortunately, even with the best of intentions, sometimes things happen. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase in any way, have changed your mind, or, find you have received books damaged in shipping, please rest assured you can receive a full refund for the purchase of the item as outlined below. Please follow these guidelines.

If you are not satisfied with your book purchase, you may return it for a full refund of purchase price, including taxes paid, by returning it to seller within fourteen (14) days of receipt, and you pay the shipping. The purchase must be returned in its original, new condition, including the spine having not been pressed open from extended reading. It must be returned in a waterproof, appropriate mailer, such as plastic bubble wrap, or in a sealed sleeve wrapped in a cardboard envelope, similar to how it was received. You must cover the cost of return shipping. It is recommended that you add confirmation of receipt to your package. Once the returned item has been received, please allow 3-5 days for processing, and your purchase will be refunded with your original form of payment.

If your book purchase arrived damaged, we will be happy to offer you an immediate solution due to shipping damages, by replacing, discounting, or refunding your purchase. Please contact us by email within three to five (3-5) days of receipt of purchase and let us know! Include a close-up picture with the damage visible (texting picture is welcome), a description of what happened, and your order number or full name and date of purchase. We will work with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

User Account

Users are given an option to establish a User Account in order to retain data to make future purchases easier, and track past purchases. Customers agree to only create one (1) account to which they will be the only authorized user. Customers understand they will provide accurate and basic contact information (name, phone number, email, etc), and also create a unique log in and user password. Customers agree to keep information updated, and add to any additional data requested for the purpose of shipping and communication about orders.

You agree that Kototama Books may use your personal information to service and operate our site. Also, you agree to protect your access to the site, not allowing any third party to use your account; that no information provided shall be inappropriate, profane, nor offensive, and, that you are liable for all actions committed via your account, even if such actions were not committed by you. Kototama Books is not responsible for any losses as a result of yours, or anyone else’s use of your account, data, or password, with or without your knowledge.

Warranties Disclaimers

This website is provided in good faith, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We will do our best to provide new, quality merchandise, and keep all items in stock. However, offering items for sale does not warranty merchandise itself, nor it’s availability. However, please be advised that Kototama Books will make every effort to maintain customer satisfaction.
